“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow
belongs to those who prepare for it today.” —Malcolm X
First and foremost, as the newly appointed Principal of the
school, I warmly welcome you all to the DPS Vasant Kunj fraternity. I am truly
honoured to be a part of your enriching and empowering school life here in this
famed institution.
As a well-wisher and guardian, I wish to share a few useful
insights with you from my three decades long experience in this noble
profession. These messages will surely assist you all in your journey ahead,
not only while you are in school but also in life.
Success comes as a result of hard work, persistent progress,
and learning from failures.
Have you ever struggled to follow a path in the woods
covered with fallen branches and muddy holes and, after working hard to keep
following it for a long time, you eventually come to the most beautiful lake
you’ve ever seen?
As a student, always remember hard work always pays. It
should be your best friend.
For a bright future, you need to discipline yourself, set a
clear goal, and then work hard towards achieving your goal. This will guarantee
your success.
You know why they put “delete” keys on a keyboard? Because
nobody is perfect. If you don’t like something you’ve done, delete it and move
on.
Always remember, you don’t have to be great to start, you
need to start to be great.
Best wishes,
Ms. Deepti Vohra
Principal
